The start

Today I officially started practicing -or at least preparing- for my JV basketball team in the first week of may, I already have a guaranteed spot as an eight grader this year and as a 9th and 10th grader in highschool, but just to be ready and fit for the tryouts, I came home from school today to have another start for the week by running a little on the tredmil in my house. I plan to do this every single day I come home to school before I have lunch, and at least run/jog for 30 min. This is how I'm gonna start my journey to becoming a basketball player.

P.S. My first start to the week was yesterday, but because I had to buy a burger in my school cafeteria I was forced to stop being a vegetarian, but only for that day.

Pray for Japan

“April 7, 2011 11: 03 a.m. News Alert Another 7,4 Earthquake hit Japan just 30 minutes ago today on April 7, 2011 almost 1 month after the first earthquake hit on March 11, 2011.  The following alerts for all coastal areas of the east coast of Japan where the nuclear reactors are leaking radiation for one month puts this on a high emergency level for evacuation. The quake registered 7.4 off Miyagi Japan for a minute and a half and it is midnight now in Japan in their time zone and now the after shocks are hitting. The 7.4 earthquake is strong enough to produce another Tsunami again off the coast near Fukushima and Sendai. The dangers of more radio active material will be threatening to human life and another Tsunami to hamper rescue efforts already in place since the last earthquake. All alerts to the people living near the coast areas to move inland more than 5 kilometers as the Tsunami’s are now traveling inward as in the March 11 earthquake. TEPCO has evacuated both nuclear reactors -in the midst of the April 7th 7.4 earthquake that just hit Japan.  The nuclear reactors were shaken violently during the quake. TEPCO has evacuated their personnel from the nuclear reactors, the first wave of the Tsunami have already reached the shores of eastern Japan’s coastline.”
